Drive Now!

Monticello Motor Club, North America’s Premier Automotive Resort and Private Racetrack, features 4.1 miles of billiard-smooth twisty asphalt dedicated to the driving pleasure of its members – individuals who are passionate about automobiles, who relish the driving experience, and who seek a place of belonging among like-minded people. Just 90 minutes from New York City, MMC is more than a racetrack. It is a luxury destination with an array of services and amenities such as professional instruction, track-side support, premium car storage, racecar rentals, private race schools for novice to experienced track enthusiasts, karting, corporate entertainment, fine dining, and five-star services.

Track & Facilities

The soul of Monticello Motor Club is our road course, comprising 4.1 miles of race-grade asphalt. Built to test a professional racecar driver, but designed to be safe for the first-time club member, the road course is set on 175 wooded acres of undulating terrain and features:
  • Grand corners reminiscent of great European tracks
  • Over 1.5 miles of straights, some of the longest in North America
  • 450 feet of thrilling elevation changes
  • A total of 22 turns including hairpins, increasing, and decreasing radius
With over four miles and a variety of layouts, the course is capable of operating as three independent circuits that can run simultaneously. With so many configurations possible, it’s almost like coming to a new venue every time. The complex includes two separate pit facilities in addition to a skid pad area. The design is the first combined effort of Brian Redman, world-famous driving champion and winner of 77 races in 12 countries, and Bruce Hawkins, the preeminent architect of next-generation racetracks.

Monticello Motor Club is developing some of the finest motorsports facilities in the world. Members and their guests have access to our South Pavilion, a stunning track-side facility overlooking the South Circuit complete with classrooms, a dining area, bar, kitchen, members-only lounge, private locker rooms and showers, wireless Internet, a pro-shop, and attached temperature-controlled garages. In addition, Members have access to our safe, heated car storage facilities, full automotive service center, karting services and kid’s lounge adjacent to our skid pad (a favorite activity for family outings to the race track), detailing center, and our Heliport.

Karting Track

Set to open for the start of the 2014 season is our new karting track.  Located on the interior of the track along the North Straight and Turn 1, a full time karting program has been a project regularly requested by members and their families.  This karting track features a one kilometer (.6 mile) asphalt ribbon, 30 feet of total elevation changes, and multiple configurations.  A fleet of karts will be available for members, guests, families, and private outings.

Future Development

To date, we have developed less than 200 of our 670 acres. Future plans include:

  • Off Road Courses
  • A Winter Driving Series
  • Year-round trails
  • Additional private garages
  • On-site overnight accomodations
  • Private residences
  • North Pavilion
